Independent research and standards

To advance fairer, faster, and more transparent payment dispute resolution.

Founding collaborators

Apply as a founding collaborator

Founding collaborator places are limited, and reviewed individually. We're looking for organisations represented by the people directly affected by how the dispute system works — not those who sell into the space.

Who this program is for

Operations, risk, compliance, fraud, and payments leads at merchants, banks, issuers, acquirers, and gateways. If your day-to-day work involves managing, processing, or being on the receiving end of payment disputes, this program is designed for you.

Who this program is not for

Business development, account management, and sales roles at service providers. PDI roundtables are a working forum, not a networking or sales channel. Applications from these roles will not be approved, regardless of seniority or organisation size.

What collaborators receive

  • Cross-ecosystem synthesis — PDI's distilled view across the whole system, several times a year, that no single participant can assemble from inside its own corner
  • A working seat at the roundtables — structured, invitation-only sessions under the Chatham House Rule, built to surface real operational experience, not talking points
  • Early sight of research and submissions — see and shape what PDI is examining before it's published
  • Members-only area — working documents, session notes, and research in progress
  • A route to the agenda — your contributions help decide which problems PDI examines next

Applications are reviewed personally. You will receive an acknowledgement within five business days.
